Comment on the following statement: It’s much better to watch the film than read the book. Give arguments and examples to sustain your opinion.

I believe the correct statement is “It’s much easier to watch the film than read the book”. Reading the book does not compare even by a long shot with watching the movie for multiple reasons.

One of them is that the book can just rock from all aspects like characters, plot, storytelling or dialogue, whatever is the case, but can be a total wipe down in cinemas. Off course the wipe down can be caused itself by various reasons like bad acting, cheap effects, considerable modifications in the lines, bad positioning of the camera. With the book you can’t really go wrong because it just bends over your mind. It doesn’t try to force you see specific alternating snapshots of the characters and their actions giving you the power to be your own big shot hollywood director literally animating your way through the entire book.

Another argument that sustains my opinion is that reading the book doesn’t just presents you with the action and the characters but also filling you with a lot of useful day to day things like vocabulary, you practice reading, spelling and so on.

The final argument of my sustained opinion that reading the book is better than watching the movie is that if the book wasn’t that great, it wouldn’t have been made into a film and and you just can’t make something fantastic trying to reproduce something great…
